Henry Creek Shooting Range

Henry Creek Shooting Range offers a quiet spot for target practice in the Shoal Creek Ranger District.

The shooting range is open from daylight to dusk, year-round. The range has a 10 person capacity. Six shooting benches are available with 50-yard and 100-yard ranges for rifles. One standing arm rest bench with a 25-feet range is available for handguns. The bench can serve four shooters.

No sanitary facilities are available at the shooting range. A primitive road provides access to the site. The fee is $3 per day per vehicle.

Henry Creek Shooting Range is located north of Heflin. Take U.S. Highway 78, turn left on Edwardsville Road and travel 2.5 miles to Forest Service Road 548, take a left and travel 1.25 miles.
